In this week's episode, the Wits School of Accountancy is renamed the Wits Margo Steele School of Accountancy, thanks to a generous donation honouring the former Head of School. The funds will support ‘missing middle’ students in the School. The Wits Mandela Month drive kicked off with food drives, school visits, and clean-ups with #JoziMyJozi. Eight PhD students and postdocs joined the prestigious Carnegie Diversifying the Academy programme and PecoPower's groundbreaking sustainable energy model lights up the Nomzamo Village in Mpumalanga demonstrating Wits’ research and innovation impact.
